About the artist

Amandine Jung, much more than coloring, an adventure, sharing and a touch of fairyland ...

Born in 1987, in Brittany, in fairy and Korrigans countries, Amandine Jung, lets herself be enchanted by tales and legends, eccentric rhymes, cartoons of all kinds. She keeps her child's soul in a world that she imagines black and poetic. In its imagination, the sun can disappear to make room for the moon, Snow White can bite a pearl apple, and a small musaraigne curiously flies in the sky. Going from a simple image in mind and succeeding in giving it shape is a difficult creative process. Amandine plays with painting, features and her ideas. It feeds on the slightest word, a very small note of music, a sweet spicy smell, the sound of the rain falling on the ground, the leaves of the fall that sing in the Breton forests, of the moon which makes it dreamy, of the simplest image and its overflowing imagination makes the rest.

Since 2018, the artist is embarking on the world of coloring and has unveiled a new talent for the creation of adult coloring books. In 2020 released his first book ""Snow White, the poisoned princess“, Followed in 2021 by“Cinderella and Halloween ball“, In 2022“Pinups, outside series 2022”Mark the start of its consecration, its name begins to resonate everywhere.

In October 2022, for Halloween, it was a whole new adventure that Amandine Jung offers with her first novel "Chrysalide, tale 1: black coma“. It makes us travel in a poetic and fantastic tale in the Kingdom of the Moon, a world without sun dominated by the eternal night.

November 2022, in her third coloring book, Amandine Jung plunges into the famous tale of Hans Christian Andersen. This time, it is between land and sea that Amandine invites us to travel. Through his illustrations, imprints of his unique and dreamlike vision, rediscover this wonderful tale of our childhood: “The little mermaid”.
