About the artist

Jean-Marc Janiaczyk is a French self-taught painter, born December 18, 1966, since his childhood he has drawn, in 1991, he began to paint. Many years to draw, gave it a solid base in drawing.

After trying watercolor, pastel, acrylic and oil painting, he finally chose the colors in oil, for their flexibility, their smoothness, and their long drying time.

The first paintings are only clumsy tests, but very quickly he learns the technique of oil painting alone, observing, and representing exactly what he sees. Which brings him to a difficult technique: hyperrealism.

Having always been attracted by landscape painting, he paints landscapes, and it was in 1999, for the first time, that he used a palette knife to give volume to a few flowers.

He is impressed by the rendering of this technique and since he painted exclusively with a palette knife, a very colorful nature.

He likes to paint landscapes in the south of France, where the sunlight is intense, where the colors are lively and the contrasts powerful. Sometimes he also likes to paint characters or portraits.

Jean-Marc Janiaczyk wants to paint and represent the warmth of summer, each of his paintings is an invitation to walk in these landscapes or simply sit down and admire the landscape, feel the flowers, enjoy a fleeting moment.

His paintings are very successful, so that many of them are reproduced and distributed worldwide in the form of a cross stitch, cards, calendars, puzzles, posters, skirts, stationery ... and many more.

He has also written sometimes four -page items in the special issue of a French art magazine.

His paintings are in many collections in South Africa, Germany, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Spain, France, Greece, Italy, Japan, Morocco, Mexico, the Czech Republic, Russia, Romania, Slovakia, Ukraine, the United Kingdom and the United States.
