About the artist

C.R.BJORK is a "colorist" acrylic painter born and raised in Southern California, who signs his name CBJORK on all his works. His art is mainly fantastic and pop-surrealist, but also has American aspects with some elements of realism. He started his artistic career by painting Beanie Babies that have been presented in many collection magazines. Subsequently, he made himself known for his post-impressionist works representing California, nature, animals, the scenes of Las Vegas and the expressiveness of Halloween. His art of Tiki Hula was one of his main centers of interest, because it allows him to combine many expressions, with fun characters and elements of nature. His tiki-hula art is inspired by his own imagination. Cbjork was born in the mid-1970s and grew up by loving Disney, as well as television series like Bewitched, I Dream of Jeanie, Munsters, and Smurfs, to name a few. The main goal of his art is to entertain others and have entertained himself, to live a vacation with a simple painting. Some paintings make a lot of meaning, others are simple joyful scenes. Cbjork has many projects for the future with regard to its art collections.
The CBJORK studio is currently under construction and is located at home in Ventura, California. Some of his works can be admired locally at Aloha on Street.
