Gerald's passion for drawing and painting began from childhood.
After leaving school, he attended the North Cheshire School of Art and Design, in England, where he studied drawing from nature, art in general, ceramics and photography. After completing his studies, he followed an apprenticeship in printing and, although he acquired experience, he decided that it was not exactly the career that suited him. After a few years spent working for his own account as an artist, he decided to resume full -time studies and registered at the University of Plymouth, in Devon, in England, where he studied graphics. He then studied illustration at the University of Falmouth, in Cornwall, England.
During his studies, he won a competition by designing wine labels and made the cover of his very first disc. After completing his studies with mention, he settled as a full -time independent artist. His first work consisted in producing illustrations of monthly blankets for a magazine. He then produced a wide variety of illustrations for publishers of books and magazines. He works alongside writers and poets. He made record covers for record companies and musicians. He worked for marketing companies, nature protection organizations and tourist attractions, etc. In recent years, he has provided puzzles and games with his colorful, detailed and imaginative art.
