Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need glue or ironing for Pixel Hobby?

No, Pixel Hobby requires no glue or ironing. The pixels stay firmly in place on the base plate thanks to a mechanical locking system that is clean, simple, and safe. This makes the activity suitable for all ages, including children, without mess or complicated setup.

Do the pixels stay in place over time?

Yes, once positioned, the pixels stay firmly in place on the base plate. To secure your creation permanently, you can frame it or mount it on a rigid backing using double-sided adhesive. This helps preserve and showcase your artwork for the long term.

What is the difference between Pixel Hobby and Diamond Painting?

Although both activities are based on pixel art, Pixel Hobby uses matte plastic pixels that snap into place without glue on a pegboard, while Diamond Painting uses shiny rhinestones that are glued onto an adhesive canvas.

Pixel Hobby produces a smoother and more uniform finish, similar to a digital illustration, while Diamond Painting offers a sparkling, textured effect with more visual depth.

From what age can you do Diamond Painting and Pixel Hobby?

Our products are suitable from age 6 for simpler designs. For more complex creations, we recommend starting from age 10 or for adults, as these activities require precision, patience, and concentration. Each product listing includes a difficulty level to help you choose based on age and experience.
