About the artist

Lucia Van Den Berg, from a small town in the Netherlands, discovered her love for art in her childhood, inspired by the magnificent tulip fields and the windmills surrounding her house. The bright colors and the quiet beauty of his homeland have become a source of constant inspiration for his art. The enchanting representations of the Dutch countryside of Van Gogh have deeply influenced it, as well as the complex patterns and the symbolism of the works of Gustav Klimt.

However, Lucia's passion for art was not limited to local landscapes. Young adult, she got into many trips, exploring various landscapes around the world. Her works, created mainly with wooden pencils and sometimes combined with digital art, reflect the various environments it has encountered.

Her work "Macaw Family" is inspired by her stay in South America, where she was captivated by the vibrant colors and the sounds of the jungle. "Mountain Escape" and "Field of Fragrance" testify to his trips to Canada and France, respectively, while "Sakura No Tancho" was inspired by a visit to Japan, where she fell in love with the serene beauty of traditional Japanese architecture and symbolic trees that are the crane and cherry in flower.

Despite her talent, Lucia remains a relatively little known artist. She has always preferred the quiet loneliness of her travels and the comfort of her small studio in the Netherlands with the ramp lights. She continues to travel and create, pushed not by the desire for recognition, but by the joy of capturing the beauty of the world in her art. His works, which are all snapshots of a time and a place, are dear by those who are lucky to fall on it.
