Victor McLindon

My name is Victor McLindon. I'm an experienced artist, originally from Bradford in West Yorkshire, and I now live in the charming market town of Skipton.

I offer a wide range of artistic styles, from richly detailed pictorial illustrations for puzzles to bold black-and-white graphic designs for book covers.

Specializing in creating period scenes brought to life by crowds of characters, I draw on my mastery of light, perspective, and traditional artistic techniques to bring these worlds to life. My goal is to immerse viewers in believable, engaging worlds, fueled by my passion for history, science, and literature.

I consider my puzzle depicting the Coronation to be my most successful project. It was up against countless other puzzles, but I believe it was the only one to bring together such a wide variety of elements into a truly harmonious and polished composition.

Known for consistently meeting deadlines and for my distinctive painterly touch, my work genuinely resonates with audiences. It reflects a deep understanding of visual storytelling and design principles, skills I honed during my bachelor's degree in graphic design.

From the earliest ideas scribbled on whatever surface was at hand to the finished piece, my ambition is to compete with the very best artists in my field.

The person who had the greatest influence on my journey is Miss Kelly, my art teacher at school.

I draw inspiration from observing the everyday interactions of the people in my hometown, as well as from my hunts through charity shops, where I love uncovering real treasures of vintage science fiction.

Committed to versatility and professionalism in my craft, I welcome constructive criticism and am always on the lookout for new sources of inspiration to fuel my creativity.

Driven by a desire to push artistic boundaries and a particular fondness for capturing the atmosphere of bygone eras, I continue to grow and refine my skills as a professional artist specializing in commercial illustration.
