Simona Candini

The artist Simona Candini graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts at the University of Bologna and currently lives in Italy.

Her works, exhibited in galleries around the world, embody a universe that is both magnificent and sometimes dark, populated by young girls with big eyes and improbable creatures. By infusing emotions into each of her new works, Simona transmits to us her love of old-fashioned fairy tales and children's imagination in a unique and poetic way. A traditional artist, she enjoys using oil, watercolor, acrylic, graphite and pencils on paper, canvas and wood panels. Simona hand paints and customizes most frames to match her works and make them as unique as her art.
