Kathleen Denis

Kathleen is an American painter known for her light-filled works inspired by coastal landscapes, island life and the tropics. Having grown up in Florida, she draws her inspiration from the beaches, the local architecture, the lush vegetation and the vivid colors of the Caribbean.

A graduate in graphic design from the University of Miami, she began her career in watercolor before turning to oil, gouache and then acrylic, her medium of choice. Her style harmoniously blends Impressionism and contemporary abstraction, with an emphasis on light, color and emotion.

Her creations have been reproduced on many home decor products and exhibited in galleries across the United States. Much loved by the public, Kathleen is also a teacher and a member of several prestigious American art associations, and her works are part of renowned private collections.
