Beyond the intricate brushstrokes, vibrant colors and vibrant light of his paintings, Chuck Pinson strives to create beautiful scenes that transport you to idyllic places and offer you a little peace in the midst of this often chaotic world. His love of beauty, nature, nostalgia and the ethereal shines through in his dramatic interpretations of the beauty that surrounds us. Whether it's the depiction of friendly communities, a bygone era, or the grandeur of the countryside, Chuck wants to take you to a place where you can smell the water flowing, hear the birds sing, and almost touch the soft grass or colorful flowers, so you can sit back, relax, and dream. His work has been seen by millions of people around the world and continues to grow in popularity.
Chuck's parents raised him in rural King, North Carolina, with his two brothers. He was introduced to painting on canvas in a high school art class. His grandmother saw potential in his early works, bought him art supplies, and encouraged him to continue painting, as his mother also enjoyed making oil paintings. Many years of experimentation and development have led to the refinement and results that spectators enjoy today.
His faith is an essential part of Chuck's life. He loves the beauty and truth that God has revealed; it is the central driving force of his life, which influences each of his paintings. He spent many years training and developing spiritually, earning degrees in theology and Christian missions in 2000 and 2005. With this in mind, Chuck's passions extend beyond art to other areas, including spreading God's love and truth to others.
Chuck and his wife, Deborah, live near Atlanta, Georgia, with their young daughter.
