Annabel Spenceley

Annabel, who holds a degree in fashion and a master's in illustration, got her start in publishing, working on everything from coloring books to encyclopedias—perfect for picking up fun facts along the way! She then moved into children's book illustration as a freelancer. It was purely by chance that she got into greeting cards, after agreeing to fill in for a friend on maternity leave, and she fell in love with it. Now back to illustrating books, she adores drawing characters and animals. A true “lone wolf” with her pencils and paints, she savors the happy accidents that appear on paper. Inspiration can strike anywhere!
