Santhya Shenbagam Radhakrishnan is a self -taught illustrator born and raised in a small village in Tamilnadu, India. Santhya has been drawing since her childhood, on any paper or support she finds. Despite this close link with art, Santha first pursued an engineering career for six years. It was by reading children's books to her daughter that she fell in love with the illustrations of these stories and that she found a taste for art. She likes the freedom to express themselves and create worlds through art. Santhya has relentlessly continued her passion for illustration and has been working for four years in the illustration and design of children's books. She likes to learn and explore new techniques in her work, and use a mixture of traditional and digital supports. Santhya is currently living in the United Kingdom with her husband, daughter and their adorable dog, Brownie.
