Julie Courchesne draws her inspiration from the simple joys of life. She creates works that evoke the memory of an era and that make you smile. Since her early childhood, art has been part of Julie's life and it was during her high school career that she took her first oil painting lessons. With time and university studies, art and painting were temporarily put aside. However, upon completion of her courses she returned to her passion and explored a new medium, that of acrylic, which she still uses today.

For Julie, her true growth results from a visit to an art gallery in Quebec City in 2013. She immediately felt drawn to this artistic field. From then on, painting would take a very special place in his life. Since then, she has used a self-taught method and painted daily.
