About the artist

I was born in the Bouches du Rhône and I spent my childhood between the pretty forests of Burgundy, my mother's country, and the garrigue of Marcel Pagnol.
Little one I wanted to be Snow White, Cinderella, lose myself in Wonderland or sometimes know how to wiggle my nose as my beloved witch while dreamed of before the illustrations of Sarah Kay.

Thinking, I had long invented a magical world where I could take refuge at leisure.

"Then she fell asleep in a long, very long sleep ..."

I drew like all the children draw but without knowing that it would become a real passion.

I am self -taught and I started to bite especially Landscapes and still lifes. The drawing attracted me a lot but I was never completely satisfied with my "study subjects".
One day I penciled A little elf in a landscape And it seemed so natural that I continued on this path.
Since then I have devoted my drawing to all these little characters who have accompanied me in my childhood and that I had so much pleasure to find. I now like to make them live on a sheet of paper.
I continued to Combine my passion for drawing with the magical world as well as my passion for certain periods of history.

My inspirations are quite varied but often revolve around the magic or the fantastic since I appreciate the sweetness of the illustrations of illustrations as much Meredith Dillman or Delphine Gache like the darker drawings of Tim Burton or Barbara Canepa.

I have been working for 20 years in the field of vocational training for adults and I am declared Freelance illustrator since 2008. I reconcile my time between a very humanly human work, my family life and my passion for drawing.

Keeping a part of magic and childhood is vital for me.

I will end up with my favorite quote:

My illustrator work

I dreamed of my engravings like prince kisses,

A little naive and childish, they are addressed to your inner child, the one who at the bottom of you, has never grown up.

Imprints of melancholies, they tell you about the lost worlds, forever glowed melodies from your childhood.

Sometimes you will bite the poisoned apple, other times, it is a frog that will awaken you.

Often, these are small wood fairy people who look at you at the bottom of your eyes and tell you:

My illustrations are made of different techniques, either in traditional, watercolor, acrylic and colored pencil; either in digital painting under Photoshop. I always try to distill magic and sweetness in my way of painting, whether traditional or digital.
