Simon Treadwell

Born in 1961, Simon Treadwell has been passionate about drawing and painting since early childhood. He decided to become an artist at the age of fourteen, after discovering some of Max Ernst's works at the Guggenheim Museum. After high school, he specialized in classical studies at the European Institute of Design in Milan, then began working as an art director at several advertising agencies. As a freelance illustrator, he became a specialist in hyperrealism, using mixed techniques: airbrush, oil paints, acrylic and watercolors. A little later, he began creating digital artwork on his Mac, which is, and always will be, a very faithful friend. After working for many years as an illustrator in advertising and publishing, Simon has recently devoted himself to developing sublime artworks designed especially for Christmas products. Simon constantly explores his art and discovers new ideas and techniques to best illustrate the wonders of Santa Claus and his magical world. He currently lives and works in a beautiful town in Tuscany.
