Where I come from

I am a self -taught painter. I started painting in oil by exploring different techniques. Not discovering what I was looking for, I continued to draw for my own pleasure and I turned to graphics for more than 20 years, where I explored different visual styles. This is where my style appeared. This change pushed me to return to the campaign and devote my time to my family life.

What inspires me

This other path allowed me to find an artistic style of expression that reflects my colorful, spontaneous and sweet side. Inspired by the animal kingdom and the human, I like to paint my subjects in a very colorful movement and vegetation setting. A decor that amazes and transports to the dream, via the magical universe that emerges from it. Je souhaite toucher cette étincelle de magie présente en chacun.

Where I start

My works follow these steps of realization: I start by producing an automatic drawing, then I let myself be inspired by the range of colors to use and finally, I finish with a black line in China ink.

Artistic style

My art oscillates between pop art, psychedelic and naive art. My works express joy and awaken us to the space of the void by their bright colors applied in flat with acrylic painting. I believe that the black features surrounding each form create a distraction for the mind, which generates an inner calm. In my opinion, the black features represent 0.001%* of our material reality, while the colors in flat is space. We believe we are separated from space when separation is only a tiny part of reality, as it can be understood.

FEATURES

My works are distinguished by the absence of a right segment and the presence of continuous movement. They contain a multitude of forms, ranging from circles, many of which are concentric, to hearts and flowers that are insufficient to form different mythical symbols.

* According to quantum physics, our material reality represents only 0.001%, the 99.999% is the space of the quantum vacuum, i.e. unlimited.

WHERE I COME FROM

WHAT INSPIRES ME

This other path allowed me to find a style of artistic expression that reflects my colorful, spontaneous, and gentle side. Inspired by the animal and human realms, I like to paint my subjects in a setting of movement and very colorful vegetation. A setting that amazes and transports into a dream, through the magical universe that emerges. I wish to touch that spark of magic present in everyone.
